Our client is one of Australia’s largest technology and business transformation advisory practices, helping organisations deliver complex technology-enabled transformation across finance, operations and enterprise platforms.

As their SAP capability continues to grow nationally, they are seeking an SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant to join their consulting team delivering finance transformation programs for major organisations.

This role is well suited to someone with strong SAP Finance expertise and consulting experience who enjoys working directly with clients to design and deliver effective SAP solutions.

The Role

You will work closely with project teams and client stakeholders to support the delivery of SAP Finance solutions across enterprise transformation programs.

This includes contributing to solution design, supporting configuration activities and helping ensure successful delivery across project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Support requirements gathering, process analysis and design workshops with client stakeholders

• Configure and optimise SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules

• Contribute to functional specifications and system design documentation

• Assist in delivering GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Management Accounting solutions

• Support integration across SAP modules including MM, SD and PP

• Assist with project planning, delivery coordination and issue resolution

• Provide support for financial reporting, month-end and year-end SAP processes

• Deliver user training, documentation and knowledge transfer

Your Background

To succeed in this role you will bring:

• 3–5 years’ experience delivering SAP Finance implementations

• Experience in a consulting or client-facing delivery environment

• Exposure to at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation

• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles

• Experience across one or more of the following areas:

  • General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable

  • Fixed Assets

  • Cost Controlling / Management Accounting

  • Product Costing or Margin Analysis

  • Treasury or Group Reporting

• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and within delivery teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline

• SAP S/4HANA certification preferred
